The actress breaks down as Pax’s biological mother asks for his return.
Dwarfed by the two oversized teddy bears they were carrying, Zahara and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt giggled and stumbled their way through LA airport last week. But their superstar mother couldn’t even crack a smile. Angelina Jolie looked tense and exhausted after their flight from Amsterdam. Now Woman’s Day can reveal it wasn’t the long-haul journey with two young children that had the mum-of-six seemingly shattered...

Meet Pax Jolie & Pitt's Birth Mother – Who is still alive
Talking of weird childhoods, some of the Brangelina offspring were out in New Orleans on Sunday. Wildman Pax- the 8-year-old son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt was dancing in the streets and joined by mom Jolie, 36, and siblings Zahara, 7, and Vivienne, 3. I touched before on the shady adoption of Maddox, who probably isn’t even an orphan and was part of a human trafficking operation in his native Cambodia. And, like Zahara and Maddox, Pax isn’t an orphan either and still has family – including a mother, aunts, uncles and grandparents back in Vietnam...

Madonna's adoption cost $19 million; Mercy's dad to fight adoption
If you thought your pregnancy bill from Cedar Sinai Hospital was high, consider the real price of adopting a baby from another country. The New York Post reports that the real cost of adopting baby Mercy James from Malawi was $19 million for former Los Angeles resident, Madonna. The money was paid out to charity projects in the African country of Malawi. The allusion is that without this kind of financial good will contribution, Madonna may not have been awarded the adoption of 3 year old Mercy because she did not comply with the country's adoption laws....

Like Angelina Jolie, who adopted both her kids, stars like Calista Flockhart, Sharon Stone and Meg Ryan have taken the adoption route - and it seems it's becoming something of a trend....

Jessica Simpson wants to do it. Angelina Jolie has done it twice. These celebrities are following a growing number of single American women who have chosen to adopt.
"We've had a steady stream of single women in all our programs, from international to African-Americans, adopting," said Sabra Larkin, director of communications for Spence-Chapin Services, an adoption agency in New York founded by a single woman, Clara Spence, in 1908.
"It goes alongside of the growing trend in adoption," said Barbara Turvett, an adoptive parent and the articles editor at Working Mother magazine. "It's becoming not just an acceptable thing to do, but a favorable thing to do. It's a great way to form a family."...

SLIM'S WIFE SLAMS ADOPTION POLICIES
DJ FATBOY SLIM's TV presenter wife ZOE BALL is angry at the ease with which Hollywood stars are able to adopt children, while ordinary childless couples are forced to struggle to become parents.
British Ball and Fatboy Slim - real name NORMAN COOK - are considering Invitro Fertilisation and adoption after failing to conceive a second child naturally.
But Ball insists the reality of adoption is much tougher than the idyllic view promoted by ANGELINA JOLIE and SHARON STONE - who have both adopted foreign babies.
She says, "We've talked about adopting as well, and I think it's a great thing, but we don't know yet. I have friends who have really struggled to adopt, so I know it will be tough.
"It's frustrating to see Hollywood stars who seem to walk in and pick up a child, while other people are being told things like they're too old to adopt."

Madonna and Guy Ritchie to adopt child - or children - next month?
Sunday September 24th, 2006 at 8:04 pm by Lucy
Madonna and Guy Ritchie are reportedly planning to adopt a child, or perhaps children, from an orphanage in Malawi.
A source close to the couple has told the People newspaper: “Originally Madonna and Guy planned to adopt only one child. But when they were told that might mean breaking up a family unit they immediately said they would take siblings or twins if that was the right thing to do.”
“They want the children to be as young as possible but are prepared to take kids up to the age of four.”
“And they are also willing to consider a child with special needs arising from being abandoned in an orphanage.”

Jolie-Pitt Clan to Expand, another Adoption Ahead
By Alexander Toldt
19:52, October 17th 2008
When Angelina Jolie said that she and her husband, Brad Pitt, want to become the parents of a dozen children someday, she wasn’t kidding. The beautiful actress told "Today’s" show host Matt Lauer Thursday morning that she and her hubby decided to adopt another child.
My opinion is that the example given by the celebrity couple is more than welcomed. If a couple wants to have lots of babies it should make two ore three and adopt the rest. There are many lonely children out there that need the warmth of a family.
However, according to therapists, Jolie doesn’t adopt children because she wants to set an example. The 33-year-old "Changeling" star has an abandonment issue stemming from her childhood and through these adoptions she may be trying to fill the lack of completion in her life, psychologist Leslie Seppinni told the Daily News....
