This website should be taken seriously by the adoption community. If your adoptive parents, family, extended family, community, country of birth, and/or even the country you've been sent to have neglected your emotional needs, abused you, or have failed to acknowledge your losses, consider this website. When it comes time for adoptees to join forces and file for our birthrights back--maybe even file somesort of class action against the adoption agencies, the stories and support from fellow adoptees can build a bigger case for all involved. Adoptees deserve to be heard! I really appreciate those individuals who take the time to acknowledge the hardships many from our community have survived. Until adoptees are taken seriously (instead of demeaned and labeled as "angry" or "ungrateful"), the industry will continue to get away with displacing children from their families.
