Mumbai: Seventy-two hours after CNN-IBN exposed a booming adoption racket operating from the heart of Maharashtra, promises of affirmative action have poured in.
Maharshtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh has assured action against the adoption centers. "Earlier we had heard these were social workers doing a good job, but after these reports, we will certainly take action.
