Carmel - A woman accused of persuading six couples to give her nearly $100,000 after falsely telling them she would help them adopt Russian children has agreed to plead guilty to fraud charges.
Eyewitness News partners at the Indianapolis Star report Victoria Farahan could face up to 20 years in prison, and a $250,000 fine. Authorities say Farahan told the couples she worked with an international agency and could use her Russian "contacts" to help them adopt children from that country....
